Background & Experience

David serves both Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, and brings over 17 years of commercial real estate expertise – combining his experience as an agent and as owner and manager of both commercial and residential properties. This dual perspective gives him a practical understanding of the challenges faced by landlords, investors, developers, and business owners. As an advisor and active owner of commercial and residential assets, he offers clients a practical, execution-focused outlook grounded in real-world performance.

David is the only current CCIM designee in Nova Scotia and one of only two in New Brunswick. The CCIM designation signifies expertise in financial, market, user decision and investment analysis. This enhanced skill set enables David to analyze deals from a 360 degree perspective, increasing options and flexibility for the client.

David also provides specialized expertise in leasing – for landlords looking to market their space and for tenants looking to secure space for their business. He is one of only three Certified Leasing Officers (CLO) in Nova Scotia, and one of two in New Brunswick. CLO’s are specialists in leasing strategy, as well as transactions. Designees ensure leases meet clients’ business goals – whether maximizing NOI for a landlord or supporting operational success for a tenant.

David aligns with client goals, and creates actionable strategies across all property types. He has a keen eye for risk management issues and solutions. He is known for his direct approach, and implementing tailored, dynamic strategies and tactics, creating value-driven outcomes.
